Church of VR has been at the forefront of XR storytelling, constantly pushing boundaries. We are seeking spatial stories that challenge conventions and utilise technology in novel ways, with the potential to captivate diverse audiences across different industries and expand our perspectives on society. Immersive Tech Week and de Doelen are particularly intrigued by projects that incorporate music and performing arts.
With XR unlocking digital stages and AI providing new opportunities for creativity, Church of VR is eager to discover the innovative works you’ve been developing.

Playground, which attracts up to 2000 visitors, is the ultimate destination for showcasing groundbreaking, immersive digital worlds and experiences. Playground is a space at de Doelen that brings together the real and virtual worlds in new and unexpected ways. This free and inclusive platform is open to all, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the latest technologies such as AR, VR, Web3, haptics, and more.
Looking for demos, experiences, interactions – anything that can transport visitors to unforgettable, interactive worlds. This is your chance to show off your skills and ideas and share them with a diverse audience of all ages and backgrounds.
