D-THINK HEALTH COURSE
D-THINK HEALTH is happy to announce that after their first successful course in November 2020, they are launching a second one from 20 May to 4 June 2021.
D-THINK HEALTH have collected the most effective Design Thinking Tools to design an online learning course for healthcare professionals by healthcare professionals. They train participants to use design thinking tools to discover, define, develop and deliver innovations in their own professional field. Applicants learn how to structurally manage innovation processes in healthcare by using the patient journey mapping method and design thinking tools. This includes knowledge and know-how about tools for all the innovation stages:
Discover opportunities for innovation,
Define innovation need,
Develop solutions and
Deliver the product.
Who will be the course facilitators and the typical participants?
Tessa Souhoka is a healthcare designer, owner of the medical design studio Productzaken and teacher medical design at the Technical University of Delft. This run Anna Birgersdotter (Head of bioentrepreuneurial culture at Karolinska institutet) and Prof. dr. John Clarkson (Professor of Healthcare Systems, TU Delft Professor of Engineering Design, University of Cambridge) will join Tessa as co-facilitators.
There is not a typical participant, D-THINK HEALTH have had medical professionals, researchers, policymakers, MedTech start-up owners & employees, designers, health scientists, project managers, engineers etc. The course is open to all types of different backgrounds!
Program
The D-THINK HEALTH course will teach you in 4 workshops and 2 weeks of online learning the Design Thinking tools that have shown to be useful in creating solutions to the complex challenges of healthcare. You will work together in teams on different cases to learn 16 design thinking tools in 20 steps, it will be really a really hands-on course.
Time investment: 4 workshop days (10.00h – 16.30h) and 3 hours online learning.
