ISPAD is well known for the variety and diversity of its conference destinations. We carefully select destinations that balance the need to reach our global constituents with the need for first class conference infrastructure. The Executive Board’s decision follows a rigorous process with criteria including questions of finance and sustainability and the willingness of the local community to host the conference.

ISPAD will be back in Europe in 2023 to hold its 49th Annual Conference. The city of Rotterdam, Netherlands will host the conference and its co-chairs will be Dr. H.J. Veeze, Pediatric Diabetologist as well as founder and Senior International Medical Director of Diabeter and Dr. Henk-Jan Aanstoot, Diabetologist and Senior Medical Director at Diabeter.
