Zij investeren in vernieuwing op het gebied van duurzaamheid, circulariteit en digitalisering. Ze investeren in creatieve, maatschappelijke oplossingen. CityLab010 ziet cultuur en ontwerp als innovatiemotor en beoordelen de mate waarin ze bijdragen aan de maatschappelijke opgaven in de stad, zoals hieronder beschreven. Ze hebben maar één doel, om sterker uit de crisis te komen dan we erin gingen.

De overheid heeft 8 miljoen euro uit de Thematische Technology Transfer (TTT) regeling beschikbaar gesteld medtech oplossingen sneller naar de markt te helpen. De vier technische universiteiten (Delft, Twente, Eindhoven, Wageningen) vormen daarvoor een consortium met drie UMC’s (Erasmus MC. Radboudumc en Maastricht UMC+) en investeerder Innovation Industries.
